HAUSER has enchanted Wrocław! The magic of the cello filled the Centennial Hall

On 13 November 2025, something happened at the Centennial Hall that is difficult to describe in words – you just had to be there. Thousands of people came to listen to the music and left mesmerised, moved and energised. HAUSER, the Croatian cello virtuoso, once again proved that his concerts are not just performances, but temperamental spectacles in which music becomes the language of emotions.

A poetic beginning – a silence that spoke more than words
The artist appeared on stage in an elegant white shirt and jacket, and when the first notes of „Now We Are Free“ rang out, absolute silence fell in the Hall – as if everyone held their breath. Only after the last sound did the audience burst into ovation, beginning the evening of musical delight.

The classical-romantic part of the concert was like a journey through the purest emotions. „Adagio“ moved with its depth, „Caruso“ – albeit in an abbreviated version – evoked another wave of emotion, and „Swan Lake“ in HAUSER’s beautiful interpretation was accompanied by dancer Angelica Gismondo, subtly completing the picture with delicate dancing.

A special moment came with „My Heart Will Go On“, which the Croatian cellist performed as a duet with American violinist Caroline Campbell. Their joint interpretation was a lyrical tale full of tenderness and nostalgia.

Movie Music and Energy Explosion
After the stirring classical emotions, it was time for powerful cinematic sounds. „Game of Thrones“ and „Pirates of the Caribbean“ raised the energy level in the Hall to the maximum. HAUSER exuded freedom, charisma and his typical charm – it was clear that he was enjoying every note, and the audience responded with enthusiasm.

Moments later, Caroline Campbell took the stage again, performing a rousing violin medley to end the first part of the concert. Her virtuosity and lightness led the audience to give her a thunderous applause.

Second part – from latino to rock madness
The energy of the second part of the evening exploded with „Let’s Get Loud“. Drummer Dušan and Latin drummer and vocalist Lazaro Zumeta created a rhythmic foundation that immediately got the audience dancing.

The biggest surprise of the evening was „Sway“, in which HAUSER… sang! A few verses were enough for him to prove that his low, warm voice has something extremely magnetic about it.

And then the real fiesta began: „Despacito“, during which HAUSER ran into the crowd and I, as well as others, could dance, „Conga“, „Volare/Bamboleo“ – rhythms as hot as Caribbean summer. This part culminated in rock classics: „Highway to Hell“ and „Livin’on a Prayer“. The cello sounded like an electric guitar, the artist ran around the stage, and the Centennial Hall turned into one big musical element.

The grand finale – the singing of the entire Hall and a tender farewell

At the end, HAUSER enthralled the audience by singing along to „Bella Ciao“, and the final song – the poignant „Hallelujah“ – rang out in the glow of thousands of lights. The emotion was almost palpable.

The standing ovation lasted a long time and the audience did not want to leave the hall. No wonder – it was a concert that enchanted Wrocław and left the audience with warmth, energy and admiration in their hearts, as well as the feeling that Hauser is an artist very conscious of his own talent and the importance of perfect interaction with the audience, which is not easy in a 5,000-seat hall.

So what does it mean? HAUSER creates concerts that you don’t listen to – you experience them.

The event was organised by Prestige MJM agency, whom I thank for the invitation.
